Our tunnelling activity has quickly become one of the most talked-about experiences for visiting groups. This unique-to-CYE course features a network of interconnecting pipes in three different sizes, creating real challenge for a range of ages and confidence levels.
Sessions begin with a short introduction and familiarisation in the briefing area, before participants make their way into the tunnel system itself. For many, there’s a moment of hesitation at the entrance — but once inside, the energy shifts. The tunnels become the setting for fast-paced chases, team challenges, problem-solving tasks, and plenty of laughter along the way.
One of the strengths of this activity is the way children approach it at their own pace. Some move through confidently and quickly; others take things more slowly, building courage with every section. It’s an activity where we regularly see children naturally encouraging and supporting one another, celebrating small wins and shared breakthroughs.
By the end, the sense of achievement is clear. Tunnelling builds spatial awareness, courage, resilience, and problem-solving skills — and often leaves participants proud of what they’ve overcome.

Easter Revision Camp 2026
The perfect blend of revision time and active time for young people in school years 11, 12 and 13. This hugely popular camps has bumped up the grade of many a pupil, and the memories made along the way are a big bonus.
Four hours of structured revision sessions each morning, supported by our encouraging team; afternoons and evenings full of fun activity on and off the water; and quality spiritual input including teaching, worship and discussion with peers.

Easter Blaze camp is designed to pack all the fun on the water, the silly games, the good times with friends and the quality discussions and spiritual input of a summer camp and put it all in an amazing 4-days in the Easter holidays.

Join us for RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stages at CYE! Our instructors deliver the full RYA Stages syllabus in engaging, hands-on sessions – building skills, safety awareness and confidence on the water. Following RYA Stages 1,2,3 and 4 will take your young sailors from complete beginner to confident helm in a safe and fun environment (please note each Stage takes 2 days to complete).
Stage 1 – Start Sailing
A gentle introduction with no prior experience required. On this course you will learn the basics of sailing, parts of the boat and how to launch, recover and steer.
